Mini-Grants Committee

The members of the Mini-Grants Committee have the unique opportunity to actually give money away. Who wouldn’t enjoy that? The committee’s responsibilities begin mid - July after the deadline for submission of proposals. The committee members each review and rank the proposals independently then work together to select the best five or six proposals. Once notified, the winners can begin their projects. All winners are invited to share their experiences at the spring State AEYC conference in a workshop designed to provide information to NYSAEYC members about the mini-grant program. Membership on this committee provides individuals with a window into the creative world of Early Childhood educators and a chance to help members use their talents in exciting, constructive ways.
